Acupuncture is a holistic system of healing which originated in China. Acupuncture has been used as part of Traditional Chinese Medicine for thousands of years to safely and effectively treat a wide range of health issues. Acupuncture may provide relief for many conditions. The acupuncture points are located on the energy pathways of the body called meridians. By using needles and moxibustion on selected points, acupuncturists can directly affect the flow and quality of Qi.

The needles are as thin as a strand of hair and are gently inserted into points chosen based on patient's needs at the time of treatment. The needles are sterile, single-use and are disposable. Some may experience a sensation during treatment, but it is generally followed by a sense of well-being, relaxation, and reduction in pain.
